Booking Policy
• A minimum deposit of 30% is required to confirm all bookings.
• The remaining balance is due no later than 30 days prior to the date of your charter or fishing experience.
• For bookings made within 30 days of the charter date, full payment is required at the time of booking.
• If you have a signed agent contract, payment is due 7 days from the date of invoice.
• Failure to make full payment by the due date will result in cancellation of your booking.
• A valid booking voucher is required to confirm your reservation. If you do not have a voucher, you do not have a confirmed booking.
Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
• All deposits are non-refundable, except when the charter is cancelled by the captain/guide due to weather conditions or circumstances beyond our control. Such cancellations will be made on the day of the charter at the sole discretion of the captain/guide.
• Cancellations made by guests will result in the forfeiture of the 30% deposit.
• No refunds will be issued for cancellations within 30 days of the charter date, no-shows, or missed departures.
• Gift vouchers are non-refundable, but they are transferable to another person.
Illness or Medical Cancellation
• If you are unable to attend due to illness, you must provide a doctor’s certificate at least 24 hours prior to the start time of the charter.
• In such cases, we may offer a trip credit voucher or a partial refund, subject to the following:
• A $100 administration fee will be charged.
• The 30% deposit will be retained.
• Any credit card or booking fees are non-refundable.
We strongly recommend that all guests obtain comprehensive travel insurance to cover unexpected travel disruptions or cancellations. If you need to reschedule within 30 days of your original booking, the full advertised rate will apply to your new booking.
Terms of Service
• All payments are due within 7 days of the invoice date unless otherwise stated.

Please include your booking reference or invoice number as the payment reference.
• For online payments using the “Pay Now” option, a 3% credit card processing fee will be added to the total amount.
Child Policy
• Children aged 6–12 years are charged at half price.
• All children aged 10 years and under must wear a life jacket at all times during the charter.
Use of Images
• Queenstown Fishing reserves the right to use any photos or videos taken during charters for promotional purposes, including online and print media.
Liability & Risk
• To the fullest extent permitted by law, Queenstown Fishing and any of its agents, employees, or affiliates accept no liability for any loss, damage, or injury (whether direct, indirect, or consequential) incurred during your participation in any of our activities.
• All guests acknowledge that our activities involve inherent risks, and participation is voluntary and at your own risk.
• All implied warranties or representations are excluded to the maximum extent allowed under the Consumer Guarantees Act 2003.
• We reserve the right to cancel or alter any activity at our discretion for reasons including but not limited to:
• Weather or water conditions
• Insufficient participant numbers
• Guest unsuitability due to age, health, intoxication, or other safety concerns
• Events beyond our reasonable control
• Guests must follow all safety instructions and directions provided by our staff.
