📅 When’s the Best Time?

Spin and softbait fishing on our guided 4WD river trips is available from 1 October to 31 May.

Fishing conditions vary throughout the season, so your guide will select the most suitable water according to river levels, weather and your experience.

Visiting between June and September? Lake Wakatipu remains open for year-round lake fishing through our Lake Series.
